Chrystal Wells was promoted to Business Manager in September, 1999, and held the positions of Administrative Assistant, Accounts Receivable Manager and Accounts Payable Manager. She is a true self-made success story. After joining CORE Health Care in 1996, Wells quickly rose through the ranks to her current position. She is a great example of CORE's "promote from within" philosophy. As Vice President of Operations, Wells is responsible for directing company's accounting functions, overall financial policies and business management; supervision of payroll and accounts payable staff; negotiation of insurance policies; instructional technology support and training; major company purchasing and various human resources duties. Wells is heavily involved with the Brain Injury Association of Texas and works as their bookkeeper and as a conference volunteer. In addition, she frequently volunteers to help direct care staff during critical periods such as inclement weather, by cooking meals, stocking supplies and providing hands on assistance. Her volunteering ensures that operations at CORE facilities continue to flow uninterrupted. Wells helps organize annual events including "Family Day" and employee holiday parties. Originally from Andrews, Texas, she enjoys spending time with her husband and drag racing. Wells is highly regarded among her peers and is a key member of the leadership team. |
