Post Acute Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program

The Fall event was so nice and the weather added to the pleasure of the evening so hats off for a job well done.

With 1.4 million new cases per year in the United States, the societal and economic burdens of traumatic brain injury are enormous. Until now, however, post-acute rehabilitative efforts focused primarily on compensating for deficits, rather than helping those with a brain injury recover and maintain long-term functionality. Fortunately, recent findings suggest that the brain’s response to specific therapies and activities can help improve long-term functionality.
By bridging our successful clinical practice with proven neuroscience research, CORE Health Care is setting a new standard in rehabilitative care and helping to provide a vital part of the solution for families, practitioners and communities struggling to offer better brain injury care.
